Santa Nella County Water District (SNCWD) Well Number 3 Improvements

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** For Santa Nella County Water District (SNCWD) Well Number 3 Improvements Questions Due 5pm, Friday May 20, 2022 Construction of a well pump station including but not limited to General clearing and site grading, trenching, installation of backfill and compaction all required underground piping, drains or electrical conduits. Construction of foundations, slabs, and structures for the pump pedestal, motor control center, emergency generator slab, and electrical building complete with foundation and a pre-fabricated metal building with a metal roof to house the electrical power and control cabinets and related equipment. Installation of a 60 hp submersible well pump, which includes the bowl assembly and suction pipe, discharge head, electric motor, and water level measuring equipment. Install all door jambs, frames, knobs, and other related hardware to make all building entry ways complete and operable. The outside door is to be keyed to match the existing building locks and keys. Installation of station piping to include valves, flanges, gages, meters, and all other related appurtenances, to connect to the to the new raw water transmission pipeline and new discharge pipeline (offsite piping to be constructed by others). Installation of one 460-volt, 60-Hz, 3-phase, 4-wire electrical service including underground primary and secondary conduits and conductors from the to the motor control center; the motor control center; conduits for a future telemetry system; and all conduits, wiring, heaters, fans, and switches. Installation of an exterior emergency generator. Preparation and painting of all associated piping. Placing and compacting the aggregate base across the enclosed fenced project area. Construction of chain link fencing, with two 20-foot-wide rolling gates. Restoration and clean-up of the site after project completion. Performance testing of all components of the pump station including performance of a pump capacity test to determine final overall gallons per minute the pump is able to produce, per state requirements. Disinfection of the well, pump, and all piping and fittings and all other work, to be complete and comply with all requirements to allow its use and commissioning by Santa Nella County Water District for all purposes intended thereby, as shown on the drawings and specified herein.
