Job Location City of Durango Bid Intent Not Available Question Acceptance Deadline 01/03/2023 05:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online Yes The City of Durango invites interested, qualified persons or firms, capable of providing the required service to submit bids for improvements that generally consist of demolition and construction of sidewalks and ADA compliant curb ramps, pull-outs for transit stops, curb & gutter, landscaping, signal pole replacement and installation, roadway restriping, and a pedestrian refuge island along College Drive from E 3rd Ave to E 8th Ave, E 8th Ave from College Dr to Larry Valdez Way, and a short portion of E 2nd St. Additional work includes pavement grinding and asphalt patch work. This project includes city, State, and Federal funding. Participation Requirements - Business Concern - Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) - Minority Business Participation - Native American Participation - Small Business Participation - Service-Disabled Veteran Owned - Women-Owned Business Participation General Requirements - Certified Payroll - Federally Funded - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % Each contractor shall complete and include the following attached forms with each bid. List of Subcontractors Statement of Residency Form Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Contracting Agency for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. Include a list of equipment to be used in performing the services required. The City of Durango reserves the right to reject any and all bids. in bids received and to accept any portion of the bid or all items proposed if deemed in the best interest of the City of Durango. The Successful Contractor shall be subject to the Federally Required Clauses included at the end of this document. In addition, this project shall adhere to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act. This project shall adhere to the required contract provisions for federal-aid construction contracts. See the General Conditions section of the bid documents for more information. The Contract Goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) for this project is 0% and On the Job (OJT) contract goal is 320 hours. Note that if bidders submit an Anticipated DBE Participation Plan that is greater than the DBE Goal they will commit themselves to that plan and will be subject to penalties if the plan is not met. The use of DBEs is encouraged but inclusion of those firms in a formal DBE Participation Plan that exceeds the DBE goal should be carefully considered before doing so. All Bids must be accompanied with the following CDOT forms: CDOT Form 606 CDOT Form 1413, CDOT Form 1414 (if DBE contract goal is greater than zero) |
