Laguna Niguel Regional Park Restroom No. 8 Demo and Replace The performance of this project is to adapt an existing building design for 1 restroom at the Park. The project involves the demolitions of an existing Park restroom and the construction of a new replacement ADA compliant restroom facility. Project construction cost is estimated at approximately $702,996 The anticipated bid period, which is subject to change, will begin July 21, 2022. Contract time estimated to complete the project is anticipated to be 270 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed date. A ten percent (10%) bid security by certified or cashiers check from a responsible bank, cash or an original bidder bond issued and executed by an admitted surety insurer authorized to transact surety insurance in California, made payable to the order of the County of Orange in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract if it is awarded to the bidder. In the event the bidder to which the Contract is awarded fails to provide bonds and insurance and meet other preconditions to the Countys execution of the Contract in a timely manner, the proceeds of the check or cash or the full sum of the bidders bond will be forfeited to the County.
