Description | The City of Plant City, Florida seeks bids from qualified vendors to furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies necessary for the Water Treatment Plant No. 5 project, as indicated herein Plant City Procurement Division is the only staff designated and authorized to answer questions about this bid. Bidders may rely only on written responses or interpretations from the Procurement Division. Verbal and/or written responses given by other City staff in response to bidder questions shall not be binding on the City. The City will recognize written addenda issued by the Procurement Division as the only legitimate method of responding to questions about this bid or the project described within this bid. The deadline to submit questions is not later than 3:00 PM local time on Monday, Octover 10, 2022. Questions shall be submitted in writing to the Procurement Division at cpcprocurement@plantcitygov.com. Questions should include reference of the IFB name and number in the subject line. All answers will be issued in writing, via addendum The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids at any time and for any reason or no reason. Bids submitted after the deadline shall be rejected. Bids submitted in an unsealed or incorrectly marked envelope or box shall be rejected. Fax, e-mail, or telephone bids shall be rejected. Bids that are incomplete, unbalanced, conditional, obscure, or which contain terms or additions not called for, alterations or irregularities of any kind, or which do not comply with the contract documents, if applicable, may be rejected at the sole discretion of the City. Bids shall be valid for no less than 90 days from the submittal deadline. The time for substantial completion on this project shall be 425 days from Notice to Proceed. |
