The intent of this contract is to repair a fill slope slump on Forest Road 895 (West Side South Fork Road) at milepost 39.4 by shifting the road alignment and installing an underdrain system. The work includes but is not limited to roadway excavation and embankment, slump excavation and embankment, installation of an underdrain system, culvert installation, riprap placement, hauling and placing road aggregate surfacing, hydraulic turf establishment, and all other indirect items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the contract documents. The precise details of performing the work are not stipulated except as considered essential for the completion of the work. Furnish all labor, material (but for government furnished), equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract. Closure of forest road 895 is limited, but will be allowed pursuant section 156 of the supplemental specifications. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
