Description

As of August 16, 2022, a contractor has been awarded for this project. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate runway 14-32 at Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport. This project consists of the milling and removal of the existing 6"+- thick asphalt pavement layer, moisture conditioning and re-compacting the existing aggregate base, constructing a new 6" thick asphaltic concrete layer in two 3" lifts, and applying temporary runway paint markings, followed by final runway markings after pavement cure time. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $7,680,420 Project Completion Date: 45 calendar days FAA AIP No: 3-04-0071-031-2021(D) FAA AIP No: 3-04-0071-034-2022(C) All questions that arise relating to this solicitation shall be directed in writing to purchasing@lhcaz.gov.
