Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall Boardwalk Facade Remediation Pilot Project

1. The Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall, located at 2301 Boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ, Atlantic County, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark in 1987 and placed on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places in 1993. 2. The work shall be in compliance with the United States Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties (Revised 1995) and is subject to review by the New Jersey State Historic Preservation Office. 3. The proposed scope of work will occur at the Boardwalk Facade and a section of the return elevations of the Adrian Phillips Theatre Block on Georgia Avenues. 4. The proposed scope of work includes the following: a. Removal of roof lanterns at pylons and roof repairs at lantern locations; b. Facade masonry restoration at Pilot Project location, including embedded steel repairs. c. Sample metal-clad window repairs at Pilot Project location. d. Flagpoles repair at Pilot Project location
