Description

The Picnic Shelter shall be a 30’ X 36’ wood frame structure to be placed above the existing concrete slab which is approximately 28’ X 34’ in size. (Successful Contractor will be responsible for field verifying all measurements prior to ordering or fabricating any materials for the project.) The Picnic Shelter shall be open on all four (4) sides from the roof to the ground and function as a shelter from the sun and rain. (The Picnic Shelter shall consist of wood posts set in concrete on the outside of the existing concrete slab on all four (4) corners, and in the middle span, as required, by the Colleton County Building Codes, and no cutting and patching of the existing concrete slab will be allowed.) A metal or plywood shingled roof that will drain away the rain water shall be placed atop wood framing and trusses which are supported by the wooden posts.
