Description | The primary location of the work is in Masonville, Colorado along N County Road 27, at the Buckhorn Creek Bridge. The Work to be performed under this Project generally includes: 1. The supply, installation, and boring of approximately 168 lineal feet of 8-inch HDPE waterline and appurtenances along N. County Road 27 and under Buckhorn Creek, to complete replacement of the existing 6-inch asbestos cement waterline. 2. The supply and installation of approximately 60 lineal feet of 6-inch PVC waterline and appurtenances along N County Road 27, to complete the proposed tie-ins to the existing 6-inch asbestos cement waterline. 3. The supply and installation of two new 6-inch gate valves to be installed at the tie-in locations to the existing 6-inch asbestos cement line on both sides of Buckhorn Creek. Both tie-ins shall occur during a one-day shutdown. 4. Proper abandonment in place of the existing 6-inch asbestos cement water line using flash fill material. 5. All other labor, materials, supervision, traffic control, restoration and revegetation, materials testing, equipment, tools, pipe bedding material, concrete for thrust blocking, and all other additional items necessary to complete the Work in substantial conformity with the Plans and Specifications. |
