Description | Method of Bidding will be as follows: CONTRACT NO. 3: LUMP SUM CONTRACT consisting of all work necessary to construct a 14- foot diameter by 102-foot tall; 116,000 gallon bolted, glass-fused to steel ground storage standpipe, complete with foundation; site grading; access road; telemetering equipment vault; site piping; disposal of excess excavated materials; site fencing; and other incidental work to provide a complete, operational water storage tank and other appurtenances necessary to complete the DOZER RIDGE ROAD WATER STORAGE TANK. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all Bids. Each Bidder must submit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction for Bidders. All work done under this contract shall be subject to all Federal Davis Bacon Wage rates and rules. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each Bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All Contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. The Contractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in the performance of this contract. The Contractor shall carry out applicable requirements of 40 CFR Part 33 in the award and administration of contracts awarded under EPA financial assistance agreements. Failure by the Contractor to carry out these requirements is a material breach of this contract which may result in the termination of this contract or other legally available remedies. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy of encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). Domestic iron and steel use requirements as specified in P.L. 113-76, "Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014" apply to this project. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. |
