Low bidders: *3C - Abateco $22,777 *3D - General Waste $137,770 Generally, the work includes removal and disposal of carpet, loor tile, and tile mastic using non-friable procedures in Phase 3C and full containment procedures in Phase 3D, in multiple phases in accordance with all federal and state rules and regulations. Bids shall include: Properly completed Proposal Form in duplicate. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of Bid. 3. Not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor pursuant to Illinois Revised Statutes, Ch. 489, Sec. 39s-1 et. seq. All Bidders are advised that all work of this Contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act". Prevailing wage rates have been determined and are on ile at the Oice of the State of Illinois Department of Labor, telephone (217) 782-6206. All Bidders shall submit and enclose with their bid a notarized certiication that the Contractor is not barred from bidding on the Contract as a result of a violation of either Section 33 E-3 or 33 E-4 of Article 33E, Public Act 85-1295 (Senate Bill 2002) efective January 1, 1989. Certiication is located in the Proposal Form, Section 00300, of this Project Manual. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of Bid, made payable to the Beardstown C.U.S.D. #15. Failure of Bidders to submit bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid shall be cause for rejection of bid. Successful Bidder will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract cost on prescribed forms within ten (10) days ater notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by a duly authorized U. S. Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to Owner. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at Gard Elementary School on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. The Board of Education for Beardstown C.U.S.D. #15 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted.
