Description

Historic Plaster repair in various areas of the Grand Theater, and surrounding rooms. Plaster has lead-based paint and/or asbestos. Working with the assigned abatement company schedule and mobilize team to repair plaster areas Contractor must use methods and materials that are compliant with the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) and the US Department of the Interior?s Guidelines for the Preservation of Historic Structures Must Sound the plaster to ensure that adjacent areas are stable. If they are not, we will notify the client if stabilizing these areas is out of ourscope of work and discuss an alternate price/proposal. Remove previous improper repairs. Stabilize salvable areas using an approved adhesive. Fill voids and gaps using a suitable plaster mixture of plaster and an acrylic polymer. Prime and paint the treated areas to match adjacent surfaces.
