Description Jackson Road from Woodrest Road to End Pavement Pave and construct 1.65 miles of 2 lane road, paving the existing dirt road (Jackson Road) from Woodrest Road to the end of pavement at the south edge of Jacob City. The work will include clearing and grubbing the right of way, grading and constructing swales and drainage improvements, constructing subgrade to an LBR of 40 (minimum), 8 inches of limerock base with an LBR of 100 and crowned at 2%, prime coat and placing 1-1/2" of SP 12.5 Asphalt, placing tack coat and 1 inch of SP 9.5 Asphalt, constructing 6 foot shoulders with 6% slope, fine grading and placing Bahia sod on the shoulders, fine grade and seed and mulch or hydro-seed to all other disturbed areas, cross pipes and driveway pipes will be placed as needed for drainage, driveways will be paved to the right of way with 1-1/2" of asphalt, speed limit, stop, and curve signs will be placed as needed, temporary striping will be paint, permanent striping and markings (thermoplastic) will be placed on the final surface, and unsuitable soil will be dug out and replaced as needed. Pavement markings will be placed after the final course of asphalt and signs will be placed to comply with the latest FDOT and MUTCD Standards. Temporary striping will be placed as needed for safety.
