Description

I. INTRODUCTION The City of Dover is requesting qualified vendors to submit pricing to provide all of our water treatment services for the cooling towers and a closed loop heating system. The term will be for one year with option to renew for two additional one year terms. Services include monitoring the ph levels and conductivity of the water that cools our compressors and also the automatic bleed control for the holding tank. General information and specifications are as follows. Submitted Rates will hold for one year beginning January 2023 and will be negotiated for the optional two year extensions. Rate increases IF ANY for year two and three will not exceed the Consumer Price Index (Boston). The contract pricing will be based on Time and Materials Only. Man hours paid under this agreement shall be only for production hours. II. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The City of Dover reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the City; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the City to do so. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Agent (k.cragin@dover.nh.gov) no later than seven (7) calendar days before the Request for Proposals due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. No Late, Emailed or Faxed proposals will be accepted. III PROJECT REQUIREMENTS Requirements are to come once a month to the Dover Arena & the McConnell Center. The arena cooling tower operates all year where the McConnell operates approximately 8 months. Vendor will provide a report with information on the measurements they have taken including PH, conductivity, water clarity and any conditions they encounter that need addressing such as water levels and flow. The process by which current treatment is being obtained is through the use of Hydrocell NON-chemical treatment system. We are also offering the option of a chemically treated process in order to evaluate the two processes.
