Description | **As of October 24,2022, project was not awarded, no information for rebid.** Sealed bids for the following work is being sought for the Installation of (1) Rheem/Ruud 36,000 BTU w/120 MBTU or equivalent rooftop unit and installation of (9) Dayton or equivalent suspended hydronic wall and ceiling heaters. The Bids will be received for the following Contract Carslake Community Center Installation of (1) Rheem/Ruud 36,000 BTU w/120 MBTU or equivalent rooftop unit and installation of (9) Dayton or equivalent suspended hydronic wall and ceiling heaters. Bids must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and bid security for not less than ten percent of the amount of the bid, provided that said security need not be more than $20,000.00, nor shall it be less than $500.00 and shall be delivered at the place mentioned on or before the hour named above. The City of Bordentown hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse any or all bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive responsible bidder. Prevailing wages established under the Davis-Bacon Act will apply to this contract, if the contract and proposal meet the standards for applicability. Compliance with the provisions of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968 will be a requirement of this contract if the contract and proposal meet the standards for applicability. The contract documents contain requirements addressing the Davis Bacon Act, prevailing wage, labor standards and wage requirements, nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation by Section 3 resident and businesses, notice of prohibition on use of federal disbarred vendors, and any other legally required related matters. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the Public Law 1975 c. 127 a copy of which is included with the Contract Documents as Exhibit B and P.L. 1977 Ch. 33 N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 which requires a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation or partnership who owns 10% or more of its stock, of any class or of all individual partners in the partnership who own 10% or greater interest therein, as the case may be. Also, under N.J.S.A 34:11-56.48 at seq. And N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.55, Contractor and all subcontractors must be registered pursuant to the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. A copy of the Contractors current Certificate of Registration must be submitted with the bid proposal as well as the Business Registration Certificate issued by the State of New Jersey. |
