Del Norte County Recreation Gym Re-Roof Project

The Del Norte County Administrative Office is inviting competitive bids for a public contract for re-roofing of the Del Norte County Recreation Gym located at 1005 H Street, Crescent City, California 95531. Each Bid Proposal must be accompanied by Bid Security of ten percent (10%) of the maximum Bid amount, in the form of a cashier's check or certified check, made payable to the County, or Bid Bond using the form included in the Contract Documents and executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California. The Bid Security must guarantee that, within ten (10) days after issuance of the Notice of Potential Award, the bidder will: execute and submit the enclosed Contract for the bid price; submit payment and performance bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of the maximum Contract Price; and submit the insurance certificates and endorsements and any other submittals, if any, required by the Contract Documents or the Notice of Potential Award. A Bid Proposal may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid opening without forfeiture of the Bid Security, except as authorized for material error under Public Contract Code Section 5100 et seq The County, however, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the County's interest.
