Description

For construction Budget: $1,140,000.00 The Science Building at Boise State University has been going through a phased remodel and update of existing laboratories that still have original casework, fume hoods, and miscellaneous Finishes. Updates include, but are not limited to, new casework, sinks, emergency equipment, lab resistance counter tops, and modern fume hoods as well as HVAC integration to updated building exhaust system. The project scope includes remodeling of two (2) existing chemistry labs on the 3rd floor of the Science Building at Boise State University (305 and 308). The work in these two labs involve demolition of casework, installation of new casework and associated utility work. These two labs need to be completed during a summer build period of approximately 3 months (May - August) to remain online during fall and spring semesters due to student load and curriculum. The project also includes fume hood integration to mechanical systems and ventilation upgrades in Biology Research labs located on the 2'ld floor of the Science Building, Four (4) of the research labs on the 2nd floor will also have existing casework modifications to integrate new fume hoods.
