| Description | Scope of work for Jordan Ridge Elementary Playground Pit Upgrade 1. This is an existing play pits. 2. Provide a 6’ high construction fence around project for safety of students 3. Existing playground equipment is to be removed. Jordan School District has the right to take any parts or pieces that they can use for maintenance of playground equipment throughout the district. District personnel will pick up any equipment they want to salvage after it is removed by the contractor. 4. Existing bark chips and/or gravel is to be removed and discarded. If existing gravel is clean and can be reused, contractor is to keep it at the site in a safe and clean location. 5. Installation of the playground equipment. Playground equipment will be supplied by Jordan School District- PLAYGROUND DESIGN #2 6. A 6” concrete pad, size as shown on the drawings with rubber soft fall for handicap access 7. If an existing drainage system is currently in the play pit, it shall be maintained during construction. If not, a perforated pipe drainage system with marrified fabric sock to be tied into an existing storm drain pipe or into a new drainage sump as shown on the drawings. 8. 12 inches deep wood chips over geo-textile fabric over 12” clean washed gravel 9. Clean-up, patch and repair asphalt and landscaping to pre-construction condition. 10. See GENERAL NOTES in bid packet for detailed information. 11. All work is to be performed according to the attached drawing and specifications unless otherwise described in the bid documents. Work to be performed during regular business hours. Contractor shall maintain a clean work area during construction. | ||||||||
