2021 2 - Inch Water Line Replacement Project

Work includes the open trench installation of approximately 1,390 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe, approximately 50 linear feet of 16-inch steel casing, one (1) fire hydrant, and two (2) 8-inch gate valves and directional bore installation of approximately 1,540 linear feet of 2-inch Municipex Type“a” cross-linked polyethylene (PEXa) pipe,installation of three(3)2-inch gate valves, installation of one(1) flushand blow off hydrant, and the renewal of 42serviceson High Point Drive, which is off of McKown Road;and the directional bore installation of approximately1,090 linear feet of 2-inch Municipex PEXa pipe,installation of three(3) 2-inchgate valves, installation of two (2) flush and blow off hydrants, and renewal of 11serviceson Short Street, which is off ofMidway Road;and the directional bore installation of approximately 600 linear feet of 2-inch Municipex PEXa pipe, installation of one (1) 2-inchgate valve, installation of one(1) flush and blow off hydrant, and renewal of 12 services on Upshaw Mill Road, beginning at Thompson Street; and the directional bore installation of approximately 1,000 linear feet of 2-inch Municipex PEXa pipe, installation of two (2) 2-inchgate valves, installation of one (1) flush and blowoff hydrant, and renewalof 12 services on Carten Street, which is off Upshaw Mill Road.
