| Description | Provide and install new electric wiring for 480 volt 3 phase power from the existing MCC located on the East side of Bldg 8, to the new Chicago Pneumatic QRS 15 air compressor, located on the West side of Building 8. The approximate distance between the MCC and the new compressor is 150 ft. New power Wiring will be connected to an existing 30 amp breaker, located in a spare bucket of the MCC. Provide and install one new 30 Amp Disconnect Switch to be mounted on the block wall as required by code. Connect new QRS 15 compressor to the new 30 Amp Disconnect Switch. Verify correct functionality of new compressor and that compressor meets all applicable codes, regulations and engineering specifications for the VA Medical Center. |
