Description

For the Ashton Park Curb Ramp Project Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening. The Contract will be subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. It is brought to the attention of the Bidder that the Project will be funded by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA). The Contract is subject to all equal opportunity and other regulations imposed as a condition of obtaining such funds. A copy of the CFA grant contract is included with and part of the Contract Documents. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, irrevocable letter of credit, or Bid bond (on the form included with the Bidding Documents) for 10 percent of the Bid total. All Bidders and its subcontractor(s) are required to provide at the time of bid submission confirmation of compliance with Act 127 of 2012, the "Public Works Employment Verification Act". The Borough of Lansford reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, and the right to waive any immaterial defects in the bidding process, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Borough. The Borough of Lansford and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received.
