Description

*As of March 21, 2023, the bid process has closed. Please contact the construction manager directly for access to the bid results. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding saturdays, sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well received after the bid due time set, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.) within sixty (60) days from the bid opening date, the successful bidder shall execute a written contract embodying all provisions of the bidding documents A cashier's check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. Deposits will be returned to the successful bidder upon execution of contract documents. Prime contractors must provide adequate previous similar project experience, and verifiable references, that exhibits the prime's ability to self-perform and execute this project within the contract requirements as set forth in the plans and specifications. The City of Lawton reserves the right to reject any and all bids based on prior project experience or lack thereof. Bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of wages for this locality and project as determined by the Commission of Labor and filed with the Secretary of State, a copy of which is on file with the City Clerk, in accordance with the provisions of 40 O.S. 1971, 196.1-196.12, which prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein. The City of Lawton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, or to waive any informality in the bids/proposals. liquidated damages, and not in the nature of a penalty, the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) per day
