Description

The Tennis Court Resurfacing Project The Mayor and Board of Alder- men of City of New Albany will consider Sealed Proposal(s), for the above designated construction, and the award, if made, will be at the best value to the government and City of New Albany residents. The scope of work for this proj- ect will include the preparation and resurfacing of ten (10) existing tennis courts (7,200 SF each), in- cluding the following: pressure washing, crack repair, leveling of existing surfaces with one (1) coat of acrylic re-surfacer, application of two (2) coats of color acrylic paint of the Owners choosing, and appli- cation of line paint according to USTA guidelines. Contract time required for the completion of this project shall be stipulated in the Proposal(s) sub- mitted by each prospective Pro- poser, in total number of Calendar Days required to complete the project. Contractor shall com- mence work on or before the date established as the Notice To Pro- ceed date. Should no award be made within Sixty (60) calendar days after opening of Proposals, all Proposals may be rejected and all Proposal guaranties returned. Proposals shall include a synopsis outlining previous experience providing like services, at least three (3) references from previous clients for which like projects were completed (including name of reference, entity name, and contact information for that reference), the number of Calendar Days the Proposer is requesting to complete this project, and a total lump sum price for the Proposer to complete this work. Any Contractor interested in submitting a Proposal on this project shall e-mail Frankie Roberts, at faroberts@visitnewalbany.com, to request a copy of the Proposal Specifications. Proposal bond, signed or countersigned by a Mississippi Resident Agent or Mississippi Non-Resident Agent licensed to do business in the State of Mississippi, with Power of Attorney attached, or Cashiers check or Certified check for five percent (5%) of the total Proposal, payable to The City of New Albany, must accompany each Proposal. Any questions or inspection requests submitted after the established deadline will not receive a response. The City of New Albany reserves the right to reject any/all Proposals, and to make an award in any manner, consistent with Mississippi Law, deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
