District of Columbia residential property owners may apply for financial assistance through the Lead Pipe Replacement Assistance Program (LPRAP) to cover at least 50% of the actual costs incurred by the property owner (up to $2,500) to replace the lead service line on their private property when the service line in public space is non-lead, whether in whole or in part. DC Water is inviting licensed plumbers to participate in the Statement of Qualification (SOQ) for the Lead Pipe Replacement Assistance Program. The purpose of this SOQ is to identify licensed contractors with the skills, knowledge, and ability to be included on the Fiscal Year 2023 LPRAP Approved Contractor List and to participate in the LPRAP program.
