Description

As of August 09th, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. No timeline of award was established. Filter Belt Press Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Upgrades at the Dyal WTP. The City of Cocoa is soliciting for a contractor to upgrade the Filter Belt System Supplier (FBSS) at the Dyal Water Treatment Plant. The selected vendor shall provide a complete turn-key upgrade to the Program Logic Control (PLC) processors, including OIT monitors, control cabinet electrical components, design services, submittal services, programming, testing, and full commissioning for a complete remotely operated system. All services performed shall be in accordance with the specifications in the solicitation. Small Business Set Asides (i.e. Woman Owned, Minority, Veteran, Disadvantaged etc.) are encouraged to submit bid/proposals concerning this solicitation. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals, with or without a cause; to waive technical errors and informalities; and to award proposals to the highest rated responsive and responsible proposer. The City of Cocoa supports local contractors and offers a five (5%) percent preference given to Brevard County contractors whose physical business address is within the physical boundaries of Brevard County and such location is evidenced by the local business tax receipt issued for at least six (6) months prior to the date the bid is submitted. P.O. Boxes shall not be considered a physical business address. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals, with or without a cause; to waive technical errors and informalities; and to award bid/proposals to the lowest responsive, responsible bid/proposer. One or more of the City Council members may be present at the bid/proposal opening.
