Description

Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Hampton, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility. Construct a new Emergency Operations Center ("EOC") near Fire Station 11 so that critical public safety operations will be located in a hardened facility outside of the flood plan. Included in this cost are replacement E911 radio consolettes. As of June 21, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2026 CIP. Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to fiscal year 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
