Description | Contract Award Date: Aug 16, 2022 Contract Award Number: W912DQ22C1029 Task/Delivery Order Number: Contractor Awarded Unique Entity ID: Contractor Awarded Name: BIS SERVICES LLC Contractor Awarded Address: Kenner, LA 70062-5356 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $9585138.00 The work includes, but is not limited to, repairing dikes and revetments on the Missouri River and the Cora Island Chute. Repairs consist of placing new quarry-run stone on existing structures. Tonnage to be placed on structures shown in drawings. Structures to be repaired will be selected by the Contracting Officer in the field after contractor has mobilized to site. Station limits of structure segments to be repaired and height to repair structures to will be marked by government in the field. Structure segments to be repaired will be accessible by floating plant, or by land-based operations. Minimum tonnage per 500 feet of structure is 500 tons. Maximum possible tonnage placed for an identified structure repair is total of item. The work requires the capability of mobilizing, loading, and unloading stone from accessible quarries along the Missouri River. Stone quarrying will be allowed year-round. At this time, no Pre-Solicitation Conference is planned for this solicitation. If the Government does elect to hold a Pre-solicitation Conference, the pre-solicitation announcement will be modified accordingly. There will be an organized site visit planned for this solicitation. The details will be included in the solicitation. If there are any changes to the scheduled site visit, the correct time and location will be included in the solicitation or amendments as applicable. At this time there are no options identified for this project. In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARs 236.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is: between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.00. This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and evaluated based on price and in accordance with FAR 14.1. The estimated period of performance for completion of construction is 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Bid Bonds shall be in the amount of 20% of the bid price or $3,000,000.00, whichever is the lesser of the two values. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued. Bids will be due on the day and time specified in the solicitation. To ensure you do not miss this notice we recommend contractors register as interested vendors. If you register as an interested vendor, you will be automatically notified if there are any changes made regarding to this notice, including when the actual solicitation is posted. The solicitation will be available in about 30 days and bids will be due approximately 30 days later. The solicitation, including any amendments, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. This procurement will be competed as 100% small business set-aside with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 237990- Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $39.5 million.
