Description

The requirements for pulling, disassembling, inspecting, reporting findings with costs, and reconditioning of Unit #5 “5-1 Condensate water pump." The pump is located at the Spencer Power Plant, 1701A Spencer Rd, Denton, TX 76205. The pump sets in a 13' deep vertical barrel well located in the basement of this facility. Removal/Re-installation will require the use of our overhead crane that is located on the 2nd floor turbine deck. Rigging access is through a 6" diameter hole in the deck floor. Removal will require the pump to be lifted out of its barrel, rigged to facilitate the pump to be placed horizontal on wheeled carts, and moved approximately 20' across the floor to the lifting bay. Contractor shall be responsible for managing the complete project. Contractor shall be responsible for supplying all tools, rigging, materials, labor, and safety equipment needed to complete the entire project. Contractor shall be responsible for the uncoupling, unbolting, and removal of the 125 hp motor from the pump before pump removal as well as reinstallation. Contractor shall be responsible for complete re-installation and alignment of pump and motor upon delivery as well as start up service
