Production Room Upgrade

The current production room equipment is over 6 yrs. old and was designed with several single points of failure. The equipment in this room is essential for communicating to our citizens using Facebook live events, Board meetings and other essential communications. Multiple times over the last few months, the County has experienced issues in this room that required immediate and last-minute adjustments and message delivery downgrades because of equipment failure. To ensure quality, consistent communications during the Covid-19 response, the equipment must be upgraded in this room and introduce additional safeguards and backup systems. System will need to receive input from current cameras and mics (below) as well as NDX based equipment. Upgrading to a network-based system will allow for greater delivery of information to a much larger audience. This will allow potentially every county wide network connection to send and receive video and audio transmissions seamlessly with reliable transmission stability with up to 10 cameras and 15 Mics simultaneously to the public access channel G10, Facebook Live, possible streaming to cloud based digital services (YouTube, Roku etc.).
