Description | As of 2/24/2023, this project has been rejected and will be rebid. The City of Edinburg Department of Public Works is seeking bid/quotes from qualified local or area Companies/Firms for the purchase, delivery, and installation of all equipment and materials that are listed as part of the attachment. In addition to the purchase, delivery and installation of the equipment, the contractor shall also be responsible for all traffic control setup and calls to ascertain the location of all underground utilities, including but not limited to; water, sewer, electrical, phone, fiber optics and gas lines. This project will be allocated 120 calendar days for completion upon the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The 120 calendar days will be inclusive of all necessary lead time, material handling and installation and will be included within the Notice to Proceed and the Contract Agreement. Locations for each individual project: Evangeline Garden Subdivision (Geronimo Molina St) Holly Heights Subdivision (N. Christopher Ln, N. Veronica Ln and Pauline St) Bar Subdivision No. 6 (Pablo St, Efrain St and Juan St) Max Subdivision (Longoria Ln.) A performance bond on the part of the contractor for one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. A "performance bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to secure fulfillment of all the contractor's obligations under such contract. A payment bond on the part of the contractor for one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. A "payment bond" is one executed in connection with a contract to assure payment, as required by law, of all persons supplying labor and material in execution of the work provided for in the contract documents.
