| Description | The Texas Southern University (TSU) campus located at 3100 Cleburne Street, Houston, Texas 77004 presently receives electrical service from CenterPoint Energy’s distribution system at 12.47 kV. The incoming service is routed overhead then enters the TSU distribution system in Manhole #1. The TSU system is threephase, three-wire, 60 Hz. From Manhole 1, the incoming service is routed underground through a series of junction boxes and manholes to a line-up of switchgear in the Central Plant. This switchgear supplies power to the campus via five circuits numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Please refer to the one-line drawing in Annex B for details. TSU is in the process of upgrading aging portions of this distribution system. This project will address complete replacement of circuits 5 and 6. |
