Lead Service Replacement Program - Contract 2

The work includes replacement of approximately twenty-five lead service and supply lines with copper lines within various locations of the Township of Bloomfield as specified herein and/or as directed by the Township Engineer during the course of the work. The work shall include excavation, replacement and full restoration of the disturbed areas. All lead materials shall be removed and disposed of by the contractor. Service pipe replaced from the curb stop to the meter shall be performed using pipe bursting or a similar method to limit disturbance and excavation within private properties. All private properties disturbed by this work shall be fully restored to pre-construction conditions.
