East Aurora WRRF Control Building Improvement Project

The contract is located in Erie County Sewer District No. 8 (ECSD No. 8) at the East Aurora Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), 201 Mill Street, East Aurora, NY 14052. East Aurora WRRF, Control Building Improvements Project. Contract Nos. 21-A General, 21-B HVAC, 21-C Plumbing, and 21-D Electrical Construction. Scope of Work A. The project consists of complete gut and renovation of the 2nd floor of an existing 2-story, 1,800 square foot building. There is also some minor work on the 1st floor. The 2nd floor will consists of a new men’s and women’s locker room with toilet and shower facilities, a new employee break room, a laboratory and office. The 1st floor consist of new interior finishes and new doors. B. The building will continue to retain the equipment serving the waste water treatment process and its utilities, however the all of the remaining building HVAC, plumbing, electrical, tele/data systems are to be removed and replaced with new. C. A new fiber optic cable will be provided from the existing Filter building. All other utilities shall remain and connected to new systems.
