Description | This project will correct and implement electrical deficiencies as identified on the Facility Condition Assessment (FCA). Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Project 619-21- 101, Correct Building 1 Emergency Power Deficiencies, Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, Montgomery, AL as required by drawings and specifications. Upgrade Building 1 emergency power electrical system which includes: 1. Replacing outdated and problematic paralleling switchgear 2. Integral ATS units (Outdated ATS units throughout building #1) 3. Replacing the emergency panels and tracing, labeling and mapping the emergency circuits in Building 1. 4. Replacement of outdated and failing service entrance switchgear "DES". Provide temporary power provisions during outage. 5. All temporary power provisions shall be redundant. 6. Replacing existing emergency generators with new. Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted by the prime contractor, through the Vendor Portal to the Point of Contact listed above. No telephone RFIs will be accepted. The cutoff for RFI submission is May 16, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Late RFIs may not be accepted, and offerors are responsible of ensuring questions are received on time. Responses will be provided in a Question & Answer format to all MATOC holders on the Vendor Portal. 1.MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $10,000,000 and 20,000,000. Questions and Answers to RFIs 1-115 , project 619-21-101, dated May 31, 2023, are included as Attachment 1 to this amendment. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. |
