Description

As of August 12, 2022, information regarding award and award date has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Responses to this request will be accepted by email at kseifrit@deerfieldtownship.org. Indicate "Response to Engineering Services RFP - ADA Compliance Improvements Phase 2"in the subject line. Responses must be in PDF format. This project involves improvements to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act at Carmel Park, the Township Municipal Building and Township Senior Center. In addition an emergency generator will be installed at the Township Senior Center. The following improvements are anticipated: (1) two ADA parking spaces at Municipal Building/Senior Center will be reconstructed, (2) existing ramp to the senior center will be reconstructed, (3) existing concrete walkway and front entry landing at Municipal Building will be reconstructed, (4) two ADA parking spaces will be added to Municipal Building parking lot, (5) Carmel Park parking lot shall be resurfaced with two ADA parking spaces shall be designated, (6) Carmel Park existing basketball court shall be resurfaced and provided with ADA court poles and backboards, (7) ADA compliant sidewalk shall be installed form ADA parking to basketball court at Carmel Park, (8) ADA pedestal tables shall be installed at Carmel Park, (9) ADA compliant playground structure/equipment with border and ground cover shall be installed at Carmel Park and (10) a standby generator with associated natural gas connection shall be installed at the Senior Center. The project budget is $457,970 including construction, engineering and administrative costs. The Township is seeking engineering services to include surveying, design, preparation of bid specifications, assistance with bidding, construction administration, inspection services and as-built drawings. Proposals should address, and will be evaluated based upon, the following items/criteria and numerical point values: -successful provision of engineering services for similar projects 40 points -ability to provide comprehensive scope of services 30 points -ability to complete project by December 31, 2022 15 points -proposed cost of services including current staffing hourly rates 15 points Total 100 points The Township of Deerfield reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted. All costs related to preparation of the proposal response shall be borne by the proposer.
