Description

The Town of Clayton is building a new 6 MGD Water Reclamation Facility in a phased approach.The Town's existing wastewater treatment plant is 55 years old and is nearing the end of its usefulness. The current site is too small for major enhancement or expansion and the facility will not be able to keep up with the demands of the growth in the region. The under slab plumbing Scope of Work shall include, but is not limited to labor, materials, accessories, equipment, tools, layout, supervision, testing and inspections, shop drawings, trucking, freight, delivery, insurance, and all other services required for the compete installation of the functional and operable plumbing piping system. All Work for this project will be in accordance with the provided construction drawings, general notes, specifications and site requirements described below, and any other requirements as listed in the contract. The systems do not include the ductile iron piping systems. The ductile iron pipe systems will be provided by others concurrently while the plumbing systems are being installed. Installation of plumbing systems shall be performed prior to installation of concrete slabs and foundations. The installing subcontractor shall coordinate work with other trades as required. GFPDC will excavate and establish the building pad elevations. SUBCONTRACTOR will be responsible for additional excavation as required. Extend plumbing systems 5 ft outside the building envelope. This Scope of Work only applies to the under slab plumbing. Plumbing for the balance of plant will be advertised as a separate package. Surveying and third-party testing to be provided by GFPDC The under slab ductile iron piping Scope of Work shall include, but is not limited to labor, materials, accessories, equipment, tools, layout, supervision, testing and inspections, shop drawings, trucking, freight, delivery, insurance, and all other services required for the compete installation of the functional and operable piping system. All Work for this project will be in accordance with the provided construction drawings, general notes, specifications and site requirements described below, and any other requirements as listed in the contract. The ductile iron pipe and fittings have been procured by GFPDC and will delivered to the site for installation by the SUBCONTRACTOR. SUBCONTRACTOR will be responsible for unloading and storing of material. Blowers 1. Furnish the blowers for the bioreactor and aerated sludge tanks. There are (2)separate systems. 2. Each system shall have a master control panel (MCP) that will be responsible for the staging of the blowers to maintain a SCADA provided pressure setpoint (adjustable). 3. Furnish the specified spare parts. 4. Furnish the required manuals. 5. Provide start up services. 6. Provide onsite training services. Switchgear 1. Furnish the switchgear (SWGR) and motor control centers (MCCs) for the project. 2. Furnish the specified spare parts. 3. Furnish the required manuals. 4. Provide startup/commissioning services. 5. Provide onsite training services. Generators Furnish the two 3,300KW Diesel Generator Sets. Furnish fuel storage tanks that supply 72 hours fuel. Include all costs itemized in proposal: equipment, spare parts, sales tax, freight/packaging, startup/commissioning, training, warranty and installation. In addition, provide a monthly storage cost if equipment needs to be held until the site is ready to receive. Clarifiers Furnish and install three (3) clarifier mechanisms associated with the clarifier tanks. Each clarifier will include an access platform that will interface with an external platform provided by others. Provide all required supports for installation of clarifier mechanisms. Provide drive mechanisms, center piers, sludge collection headers, center cages, skimmer supports for truss and manifold, walkways and bridges, influent feed wells, energy dissipating inlets, surface skimmer mechanisms, surface preparation and finishing, scum spray systems, control and integration, and spare parts. UV System 1. Furnish the UV Disinfection System. 2. Each system shall have a control system that will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the UV Disinfection System and interfacing with the SCADA system. 3. Furnish the specified spare parts. 4. Furnish the required manuals. 5. Provide start up services. 6. Provide onsite training services. Furnish an open channel, gravity flow, low-pressure, high intensity lamp ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system complete with an automatic cleaning system, lamps, power distribution, electronic ballasts, control equipment, UV detection equipment, spare parts and accessories as shown on the Contract Drawing and specified herein. Screw Press 1. Furnish the Screw Press Dewatering System. 2. Each system shall have a control system that will be responsible for controlling and monitoring the Screw Press System and interfacing with the SCADA system.
