Design-Build Contract for Transmission Line Repair

Qualified Design and Construction Teams to do maintenance and repairs on the 138kV Transmission line for Beaches Energy Services (BES). There are 19 structures that have been identified as needing a variety of maintenance work as described below. The complete scope of work is to replace 2 concrete transmission line structures including their hardware, concrete patching on 2 structures, insulator replacement on 5 structures, shield wire hardware on 4 structures, splicing in new wire in 2 locations, cutting back vegetation in 2 locations, guy and anchor replacement in 2 locations, and replacing members of a substation structure. The replacement structures and work on the substation structure will require determining the size and strength of the existing structures so they can be replaced with an equivalent.
