| Description | The purpose of this proposal is to establish a competitive contract for the purchase of flooring and installation services on an "as needed" basis throughout the year for Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD). The awarded Contractor(s) shall furnish and install floor carpet, wall carpet, vinyl composition tile, rubber athletic flooring, cove base, ceramic wall tile, ceramic and/or porcelain floor tile as specified herein. The work consists of all labor, materials and services necessary and required to complete all repairs and/or new installations. Any material not specifically mentioned in this specification, but required for proper performance must be furnished. The awarded Contractor(s) will be notified when an installation is required. The Contractor(s) will access the installation site and provide the School District's Cluster Manager with a job quote. Work will commence once the School District's Cluster Manager has approved the installation and after a purchase order is issued. Question Deadline 05/02/2023 at 4:00 PM CT The initial term of this RFP will be for one (1) year from date of award. This contract, upon the agreement of both the successful vendor(s) and the Plano ISD, will automatically extend for three (3) additional one (1) year periods. Plano ISD has the option to extend this proposal at the end of the performance period for up to 120 days if determined to be in the best interest of the district to ensure availability of products and/or services. Plano ISD has the option to issue subsequent RFPs as needed at any time during the term of this RFP should awarded vendors not be able to comply with the RFP or be able to meet additional needs of the District and will be the sole discretion of the District. Tentative - Pending Board Approval Date Initial Contract Period: June 2023 - June 2024; Contract YR2 (Option): June 2024 - June 2025; Contract YR3 (Option): June 2025 - June 2026; Contract YR4 (Option): June 2026 - June 2027 |
