Fowler Water Reclamation Facility Phase II Expansion

Project No-F4000.109, 20-364 The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of the Forsyth County Fowler Water Reclamation Facility Phase II Expansion All interested qualified firms are invited to submit a formal proposal with separately sealed pricing information to accomplish the Scope of Work described herein, in conformance with the prescribed format. The proposal is to be signed by a principal of the firm or by a principal of the lead firm if the submittal is for a multiple firm project team. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information in the RFP we recognize that the information may not be complete in every detail and that all work may not be expressly mentioned in these specifications. It is the responsibility of the proposing company to include in their proposal all pertinent information in accordance with the objectives of the County. GENERAL INFORMATION Proposals MUST be submitted in the format prescribed herein. Failure to comply with the directions listed in this RFP, or omission of requested information could result in disqualification of your firm's proposal. The completed Work will increase the Forsyth County Fowler Water Reclamation Facility treatment capacity from 5.0 million gallons per day (mgd) to 7.5 mgd. The major components of the project include: 1. New Influent Pump Station Generator, Electrical Building, and Odor Control. 2. New Pumps and Piping at the Influent Pump Station. 3. Miscellaneous Modifications in the Headworks Facility. 4. New Equalization Pump. 5. New Process Blowers. 6. New Channel Mixing System. 7. New Membrane Trains (x2) and Associated Equipment (In Existing Tanks). 8. New Membrane Chemical Cleaning System. 9. New UV Disinfection Unit. 10. New Outlet on the Reuse Tank and Flow Control Valve 11. New Cascade Aerator and Splitter Box. 12. New Bulk Chemical Storage Facility. 13. Modifications to Plant Chemical Feed System. 14. Replace existing Rotary Drum Thickeners. 15. New Warehouse Facility also including a new Compliance Laboratory and new Office Space. 16. New Fire Suppression System in Existing Server Room. 17. Miscellaneous Instruments. 18. Miscellaneous Site Improvements. 19. Miscellaneous Building Improvements including Gutter Downspout Replacement, Door Handle Replacement, and Exit Sign Installation. 20. Miscellaneous Instrument and Valve Modifications at the Shakerag WRF
