Description

This work shall include the furnishing and p lacing of a 0 - 1 1/2 inch bituminous concrete (hot asphalt) scratch course, wedge course, or leveling course (where needed as directed by the City) and appurtenant work, including some milling (where needed as directed by the City). Also, this work shall include the furnishing and placing of bituminous concrete (hot asphalt) wearing surface course. Depth of the bituminous concrete will vary with each street (1 1/2 to 2 inches as directed by the City). Tacking shall be required between all existing bituminous surfaces being covered with new bituminous concrete. Line Striping shall be required. Approximately 1000 tons of hot asphalt, incidental milling, roadway line striping and miscellaneous work is estimated.
