Project Value 2,035,000.00 Over the next five years. MassDOT expects to invest over $3 billion repairing the Commonwealth's Bridges. This includes $816 million already programmed in the STIP using BIL's reauthorization of existing programs, $1.1 billion under BIL's new Bridge Formula Program, and $1.25 billion in bonding authority under the Commonwealth's Next Generation Bridge Program. As of March 25, 2022, further details regarding design and firm construction timelines have not been identified. The project is planned to be funded through the 2023 Transportation Improvement Program for the Franklin Regional Council of Governments.
