Description

Sealed bids will be received by the Village of Newcomerstown at 308 College Street, Newcomerstown, Ohio 43832 for the Cross Street Repaving. The project consists of repaving approximately 104,000 SF of repaving and appurtenance adjustments on Cross Street from West Main Street north to the village corporation limit. Bid Documents as prepared by Verdantas LLC may be examined free of charge during normal business hours at the following locations: Verdantas LLC, 1555 W. Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055, Ph. 740-344-5451 Village of Newcomerstown, 308 College Street, Newcomerstown, Ohio 43832, Ph. 740-498-6313. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashier s check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee the Bidder s entrance into a contract, if awarded the project. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided within these Bid Documents. Each Bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. The Engineer s estimate is as follows: $250,000.00. Project to be funded with local funds. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. In the event that the Owner is unable to obtain an Agreement with the Bidder initially selected, the Owner may award the contract to the next bid, most favorable to the Owner. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and best bid.
