Description | Verrado Community Association, Inc. is seeking sealed bids from qualified landscapers for general landscape maintenance services within the Verrado community and Western Overly Community Facilities District areas (the "CFD" areas). This work will be separated into two separate agreements that will be awarded as follows: (1) all areas within the Verrado(R) Community (VCA)(VDA)(SSA) and (2) the CFD areas. We request that you submit a Bid for all areas as a single contract, and additional separate Bids that include: 1. Everything North of Indian School and 2. Everything South of Indian School for a total of three Bids. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: Contractor must be licensed with the office of Registrar of Contractors and must be in good standing. Contractor shall adhere to the attached specifications; furnish all labor, tools, and all necessary equipment, supplies and procedures to perform a safe and complete job. The landscape maintenance specifications and requirements, including the scope of work and appendices, and request for statement of qualification is included in with the IFB Package. Each Bidder shall submit a fully responsive Statement of Qualification (SOQ) with the bid and the bid submittal must be signed by an authorized representative of the Bidder. A bid price shall be indicated for each bid item listed therein, or the words "Included" or "Not Applicable" entered. A fully responsive SOQ is required to be submitted along with the bid. Any bids submitted that do not include a fully responsive SOQ are subject to rejection. Bidders are responsible for their own assessment of the square footage under maintenance using the maps and information provided in these bid documents. Cohere Life, Inc. and the Landscape Advisory Committee, in the performance of their respective duties, or the VCA Board of Directors (in its discretion not to delegate review to the Landscape Advisory Committee) will review the bid submissions, including the SOQs, to evaluate each Bidder's ability to responsibly and adequately perform the work as well whether each bidder was fully responsive in all material respects to requirements and criteria set forth in the IFB. A Bidder's proven ability to provide similar services in large-scale HOAs in the valley will be heavily weighted, as well as a proven track record with Integrated Management and Water Conservation. If delegated by the VCA Board of Directors for review and recommendation, Cohere Life, Inc. and the Landscape Advisory Committee will make recommendations to the VCA Board of Directors, which will select the Bidder(s) who will be awarded the work detailed in each of the two agreements. |
