Westwood HS and Idlewild ES Window Replacement

Project Westwood HS - A & B Construction - $1,234,040 Project Idlewild ES - A & B Construction - $1,181,132 The Westwood HS and Idlewild ES Window Replacement Re-Bid scope of work includes, but not limited to, improving the energy efficiency and safety of the schools by replacing existing windows to modern storefront windows. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total estimated contract amount for each individual school location, as determined by SCBE and specified in the IFB, to ensure the satisfactory completion of the work for which a contract or purchase order is awarded that may exceed $100K. Should the Bidder withdraw their bid response without entering into a contract the Bid Bond may be forfeited in whole or in part. A bid submitted in response to this solicitation is binding upon the bidder and is considered irrevocable for a minimum of 120 days following the closing date for receipt of initial bids. Liquidated damages for this project are as follows: $500.00 /per day substantial completion deadline missed and $500.00/per day completion deadline missed. The anticipated terms of this contract shall be (1) year(s). The work shall begin after issuance of the “Notice to Proceed. Estimated start time is 09/15/2023. Substantial completion date is projected at 04/30/2023. Final completion date is projected at 05/30/2024. Bids responses delivered to any other location shall not constitute delivery to the Procurement Services Office.
