2023 Street and Utility Reconstruction

**As of April 10, 2023 this project has been awarded to DeGroot, Inc. in the amount of $1,905,423.81.** The work on N. Water Street, State Street, Lincoln Court and St. John's Place includes 1,700 L.F. of 8-inch sanitary sewer and laterals, 1,900 L.F. of 12-inch water main including valves, hydrants, both public and private water services, 700 feet of 12-inch storm sewer, manholes and inlets, 1,000 feet of full street reconstruction including curb and gutter, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, and turf restoration. The downtown project includes the development of an 80-stall public parking lot. Additional asphalt paving includes approximately 9,000 S.Y. of second mat asphalt paving for Eastridge Subdivision. BID REJECTION The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in Bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serves the interests of the City of New London. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER.
