Description

**As of April 10, 2023 this project has been awarded to DeGroot, Inc. in the amount of $1,905,423.81.** The work on N. Water Street, State Street, Lincoln Court and St. John's Place includes 1,700 L.F. of 8-inch sanitary sewer and laterals, 1,900 L.F. of 12-inch water main including valves, hydrants, both public and private water services, 700 feet of 12-inch storm sewer, manholes and inlets, 1,000 feet of full street reconstruction including curb and gutter, concrete flatwork, asphalt paving, and turf restoration. The downtown project includes the development of an 80-stall public parking lot. Additional asphalt paving includes approximately 9,000 S.Y. of second mat asphalt paving for Eastridge Subdivision. Pre-Qualification: Yes Email BID SECURITY No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a Certified Check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the City of New London in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum Bid as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance/Payment Bonds and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents, within 15-days after the Notice of Award. BID REJECTION The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in Bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serves the interests of the City of New London. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER. PROOF OF RESPONSIBILITY A Proof Of Responsibility (Pre-Qualification) Form for all Contracts in excess of $10,000 must be filed in the office McMahon Associates, Inc., Attn: Brad Werner, PO Box 1025, Neenah, Wisconsin 54957-1025 not later than five (5) calendar days prior to the date of receiving Bids, and shall show sufficient ability, equipment and experience to properly perform the Contract. The City of New London's decision as to qualifications shall be final. GOVERNING LAWS & REGULATIONS The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 66.0901, 66.0903 and 779.14 of the Wisconsin Statutes. WISCONSIN SAFE DRINKING WATER LOAN PROGRAM - Any Contract or Contracts awarded under this Advertisement For Bids are expected to be funded in part from the Wisconsin Safe Drinking Water (SDW) Loan Program. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in NR.166, Wisconsin Administrative Code and appropriate State Statues. This project has not been designated a Federal Equivalency project.
