Description | The Project consists of constructing a chlorine booster station at the Point of Connection (POC) between the Village of Dexter (supplier) and the Town of Brownville Water District No. 2. The POC is an existing master meter vault located at the intersection of Lakeview Drive and West Grove Street at the Village/Town limits. d of contract or rejection of bids. The selected bidder is not required to return the bidding documents. All refunds of deposits will be made only in accordance with the Plan Deposit Policy. the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service through Syracuse Blue Print Company, 825 East Genesee Street, Syracuse, New York 13210. Copies are not available for pickup at the Issuing Office. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be coYsidered the Bidder's date of receipt of the BiddiYg DocuweYts. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Any bid may be withdrawn without prejudice prior to the official bid submission time or any publicized postponement thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or defects in such bid either before or after opening Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to condition of employment to be observed and to the minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders and Bid Form for requirements regarding modifying and withdrawing bids. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statues mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The terw iron and steel products weaYs the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete and construction materials. The de minimis, minor components, and pig iron waivers apply to this contract. |
