Description

Where applicable Contractor shall: a. Disconnect electrical service from buildings. b. Disconnect and remove all natural gas lines back to the point a utility is in use. c. Disconnect and remove all propane lines also remove propane tank. d. Remove all un-necessary power service lines & poles associated with the building back to the point a utility is in use (or have utility remove them if utility owned). e. Properly cap potable water line service to buildings where branching from main water line to prevent unacceptable dead leg. Notify CO, COR and EPM before capping if area where branching from main water line occurs is more than 50 feet from building and await instructions on final potable water line capping. f. Properly cap sewer pipe approximately 3 feet after sewer exits building foundation. g. Remove buildings, including concrete foundations, sidewalks etc. including removing entire length of support poles buried in ground on pole barn. h. Remove all piping and electrical underneath foundation to 3 feet from building foundation. i. Fill and compact all disturbed areas to reduce future settling and grade for proper drainage. No seeding, mulching, etc is required. If needed, provide topsoil equivalent to adjacent areas for final grading. j. Gravel parking lots and gravel from slab on grade construction may remain. Dispose of all material properly in an appropriate landfill or equivalent site.
