Description

The City of Rexburg is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering services required to design a new wastewater lift station. This lift station will convey wastewater flows from the north end of Rexburg, Sugar City, and the City of Teton to the wastewater treatment plant. The City of Rexburg is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to provide engineering services required to design a new wastewater lift station. This lift station will convey wastewater flows from the north end of Rexburg, Sugar City, and the City of Teton to the wastewater treatment plant. The scope of work is anticipated to include: o Review the recommendations of the City's Wastewater Collection System Master Plan. For access to this document, email a request to brandy.davis@rexburg.org. o Design a new lift station to be located at Riverside Park. The initial capacity is anticipated to be 1,000 gpm, but designed to expand to a future master plan peak inflow of 2,330 gpm. o The design will include provisions to control corrosion of the collection system line and manholes between Sugar City and Rexburg and corrosion and odor control at the new lift station. o The scope may be expanded to include construction administration, design of other wastewater collection system improvements, and other related engineering services. Award will be made to the most qualified firm whom is deemed most advantageous to the City of Rexburg, all evaluation criteria considered. The City will select a firm based on the information provided in the proposal, as described above. However, the City may select one or more firms to make brief presentations covering the information listed above prior to finalizing proposal scoring and making a final selection. Please state "Rexburg Engineering Services Proposal" on the outside of the response package. Firm must provide 5 (five) paper copies of the Proposal and a searchable electronic copy in .pdf format on a USB flash drive. Emailed proposals will not be accepted. Proposal shall be limited to a front and back cover, a single-sided one-page cover letter, and 10 single-sided pages of text including all attachments. Minimum 11 pt. font. The City of Rexburg reserves the right to negotiate an agreement based on fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed, as well as the right to reject any and all responses deemed unqualified, unsatisfactory or inappropriate. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
