Fy22 Barnstable High School Rooftop Unit Replacement - Filed Sub Bids

The work will include all operations necessary to deliver the building(s) and ancillary on and off-site amenities in a fully installed and operable condition including all utility and site work and obtaining all necessary licenses, permits, and certificates. 5. Remove and dispose of existing rooftop units #1, #2, #3 and #10, including a portion of associated ductwork, sleeves, dampers, and other components as indicated on the Drawings, by the HVAC Filed Sub-Bidder. 6. Carefully remove and salvage portions of existing suspended acoustical tile ceiling and grid to accommodate the work above the ceiling, and reinstall at completion of the work. 7. Remove and dispose of wood-framed roof curbs under rooftop units #1, #2, #3 and #10, and temporary roof protections by the Roofing and Flashing Sub-Bidder. 8. Remove and dispose of a portion of the gypsum wallboard partition above the soffit in the Cafeteria in order to access existing steel beam for reinforcement by the General Bidder. Carefully remove, store and protect existing duct risers (by HVAC Filed-Sub Bidder) and flat screen monitor and other wall-hung devices in the area of wallboard demolition. 9. Provide and install rooftop units #1, #2, #3 and #10, including all associated ductwork, sleeves, dampers, vibration and seismic restraints, controls, and other components as indicated on the Drawings, as well as testing and balancing of the units, by the HVAC Filed Sub-Bidder.. 10. Provide lightning protection for each unit, grounded, by Electrical Filed Sub- Bidder. 11. Provide all required circuitry, breakers, feeders and wiring for the rooftop units, receptacles, fire alarm, duct smoke detectors, including extending necessary circuitry, testing and programming and all related electrical work as indicated in the drawings and specifications, by Electrical Filed Sub-Bidder. 12. Carefully remove and relocate all lighting and other devices in the ceilings and on the soffit in the areas of demolition and to accommodate the above-ceiling structural work, and re-install in the same location at the completion of the work, by Electrical Filed Sub-Bidder. 13. Provide and install firestopping sealants at all penetrations in fire rated assemblies, by the General Bidder and each Filed Sub-Bidder for their respective work. 14. Provide and install structural steel reinforcing to existing steel, as indicated on the Structural Drawings. 15. Provide and install steel dunnage on the roof including posts down to existing deck, as indicated on the Structural Drawings.
