Xavier Charter School District #462 1218 N College Road West Twin Falls, ID 83301 Phone 208-734-3947 REQUEST FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by Xavier Charter School District #462, for the construction management, site preparation and utility connection for up to two (2) used or new construction doublewide modular classroom structures to include four (2) classrooms per structure. This is a base bid for one unit with alternate for one additional unit. Bids shall include all costs for all construction management, site preparation, utility connection and any other preparation necessary to Xavier Charter School site. Bid for all construction must meet current Idaho construction codes. All bidders are expected to familiarize themselves with the requirements of Chapter 40, Title 31 of the Idaho Code, as amended, concerning bidding, and bidder's security. Bidders are required to provide bid security in the form of cash, a cashier's check, or bidders bond executed by a qualified surety company made payable to Xavier Charter School, in the amount of not less than 5% of the total bid including alternates according to the requirements in AIA Document A701- Instructions to Bidders (1997 edition), and no interest will be allowed on bidder's security. This surety shall be forfeited by the Bidder in event of failure to fulfill provisions of bid as awarded. Bidders are required to have a current public work license for the State of Idaho at the time of bid. Bidders are required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. Any bid is required to be submitted under the condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. Refer to other Bidding requirements described in AIA Document A701 - Instructions to Bidders, 1997 edition. The Board of Directors for Xavier Charter School District #462 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities. (A) Two (2) connected classrooms consisting oftwo (2) sections measuring (minimum) approximately 28' wide x 33' long totaling approximately 1,848 square feet. Furnish the necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment to deliver and set up FOB on a site in the Xavier Charter School, Twin Falls, Idaho. Mover must have a State ofIdaho public works license and must apply and pay for any permits required to facilitate delivery to the site and any optional bid items. Must provide and pull axles, wheels and tongue. Owner will retain all axles, wheels and tongues for each unit provided. Set up will be completed to meet all IBC and City ofJerome requirements. Building permits will be responsibility ofXavier Charter School. Site preparation and power hook-up will be the responsibility ofthe Xavier Charter School. Step and ramps providing access to the classrooms will be the responsibility ofthe Xavier Charter School.
